We live at a time when everyone seems to be producing their own knitting podcasts. There is a lot of similar content being posted. I appreciate it’s a question of personal preference but I wanted to share with you the happeeknits podcast which I discovered today. It’s simply the best. The mother and son double act are great.
I keep up to date with what is happening with knitting through following knitters who post on social media especially Instagram and YouTube. @knitterista on Instagram posted a request for test knitters for her ‘the dudes cowl’ . I thought this would be a great knit opportunity as it meant learning new techniques especially that of herringbone stitch. luckily I was selected to participate and I have had an absolute delightful time knitting this cowl aided by a super soft yarn re:treat by West Yorkshire Spinners. It took two skeins and I had it knit fairly quickly. When this pattern is published I would add it to your go to cowl patterns as it’s looks and feels fabulous!
I decided this afternoon that it was time to creat a more interactive website blog that I could maintain and post to daily. This is a work in progress/ development as I get used to a new cms. To say it has been a steeeeep learning curve is an understatement but I’m happy with the results soooo far. Watch this space as they say!!!!!
Welcome to my new website which is a work in progress as I discover how this cms works
